3 Step Quality Process in Transcription

An overview of Transcription just describes a three level process, which are Dictation, Recording, and Transcribing. Though, there are only three processes broadly, transcription requires a detailed level of quality check before delivery.

The most important aspect of transcription is quality. Quality in transcription can be rather explained as accuracy. Accuracy is the base for success in transcription. The transcript or the text format should be as exact as what was dictated in the audio /video file.

Do you skip the ads in the Podcast?

Yes. Our standard policy is that all commercial breaks, music etc from the audio will not be transcribed.

We currently accept AIF, AIFF, AMR, AVI, DSS, DVD, DVF, FLV, M4A, MOV, MP2, MP3, MP4, MPEG, MPG, MSV, QTFF, RM, WAV, WMV, VOB, TRM and DS2

Please contact us if you find that your file format is not mentioned in the above list and we will email you either how to convert to a suitable format or alternate upload methods.

Who will transcribe the audio or video and what are the processes involved?

All transcription work is carried out by intelligent human resource and NOT by automated transcription software.

We follow the 3 Step Quality Process in Transcription
1. Your work will be done by our experienced Transcribers, who have acquired commendable skills in hearing accents of various nationalities and converting them into documents. The Transcriber will be supported by online dictionaries and Web search engines to find relevant technical words.

What is time stamp or time code service?

When you request time stamp/time code service on your transcript, we will insert visible timestamps in your transcript at the beginning of the audio and approximately every 2 minutes thereafter (This is the default timestamp we add to the transcript). We can also have the time stamp/time code added on the transcript based on your request.
